My Funny Kids

Tonight I was sitting in Jack's bed, as he drifted off to sleep.   I love the rare chance to watch him fall asleep!  I barely moved, and he jumped and yelled, "Airplane!" Then he quickly fell back to sleep.

This morning Hailey randomly told Nick, "I going to go to the same school as you Dad, because my husband doesn't know where he's going to  work."
Nick asked, "Who is your husband?"
Hailey replied, "Jacob (a cute little boy at school).  I just want a guy who smells good and is good to me!"

Sorry no pictures!  I have been having problems with my computer, and am waiting for Nick to wipe it out and reinstall everything (including the new iphoto.  Yaaah!).

After much complaint...

I've finally spent the time to figure out some blogging things.  Now you can actually read our blog.
"Yaah," for some (mostly family)!
"I waited for that!" from others.

Holiday Music

Hailey is like an MP3 player.  She is constantly singing Christmas music.  While grocery shopping she was singing "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas."   Her version goes like this: "Have a holly jolly Christmas, (blah, blah, blah) please have snow and mistletoe, and a cup of beer!"  I smiled the first couple times, but just couldn't contain myself, as I realized that is how she's memorized the song!

Funny Things Hailey Says

Hailey's monthly school newsletter always includes cute things that each child says.  Here's a conversation from it.

Hailey: My Mom calls me alligator.
Gilford: Alligator?  Alligator is a green big animal with many teeth, he lives in the water and you don't want to be called an alligator.  Tell your mom to change it.
H: Oh! Okay!
G: My dad is very silly, he always does silly things at home with us.  My mom is only silly sometimes, not all the time.
H:  My Dad is fun!

I'm glad the reporter ended it there. Who knows what else she could have said?  At least she didn't say that I was no fun!  And for the record, I have never called her alligator.  What else does she make up about us?

Hailey was talking about these two funny boys from her class.  I mentioned that they were twins.  I asked if she knew what this meant.  She replied, "Yah, they got out at the same time"

Family Photos

Her are our recently taken family pictures.  It's always so hard to choose one out of 25 pictures.

Jack & Shoes

Jack love shoes!  He's not picky!  He just loves to slip them on and stomp around the house!

Thanksgiving

Hailey & I started cooking our Thanksgiving Feast on Wed.  She cracked her first two eggs successfully, which landed perfectly in the bowl with no spills or eggs shells!  Yay!  She looks so proud about the eggs!  I was never a big fan of pumpkin pie until I made it with Hailey last year.  She really makes a good one!

Hailey & Jack watched the Macy's Parade, while I finished cooking on Thursday.  Then they put on their own parade!
Jack closed his eyes each time he crashed the cymbals.
Don't they look like a Chinese Dragon?  Hailey said they were a Jack Ghost!
After our yummy dinner, the kids ran around outside.  Hailey took her broom and said, "I am going to be the girl from Harry Potter!"  I love how she rides her broom backwards.  I tried to tell her, but she just won't listen to my absurd suggestion.
